| I love ruffles and pearls! :) |
Well, I'm getting bigger and bigger every day. When I look in the mirror, or for that matter, when I look down and I can't see my feet I feel like a whale. However, Craig keeps reassuring me that I, in fact, do not look whale-like in the least. I'm glad he still makes me feel beautiful. He's a good husband.
Things are progressing along well. The baby is doing great. I was a little perturbed at the nurse last week. I went in for my appt. and my doctor was at the hospital delivery a baby so I was seen by someone else. She asked me if I wanted to be checked (as in checked to see if I was dilated) and I was surprised because usually they don't start doing that until at least around 35-36 weeks along. Then she went "Oh, when are you due? What!?! Not until March. Sorry, I thought (by my looks) you were around 37 weeks. My mistake." Yeah!! your mistake. I'm sorry but you never say that to a pregnant woman. Oh your only 33 weeks .. you look like your much farther along ... or in other words you've gained way too much weight. I totally glared at her. I get it. I've already gained in 33 weeks what I should have gained during my whole pregnancy but this is my last one and I'm enjoying it. I'm just not going to worry about it until afterwords. Hopefully the coconut oil I use as a full body moisturizer helps with stretch marks.
Other than that, I'm great and the baby is great. He/she is very active and loves to roll around my tummy at night. I love baby hiccups. They are so sweet. The kids love feeling my tummy and guessing if it's a leg or an elbow that they are feeling. I've already started having a lot of contractions and I'm really hoping that I don't have a false alarm at 35 weeks like I did with Brooke and Ty because Craig will most likely be traveling for work. I just need to get through the month of February (and it's a short month) and then I will be full term, 37weeks. The end is in sight. The month of March will be a waiting game. At least I have family coming to vacation and distract me. :) Yay!!
I am in TOTAL nesting mode and can't clean our house enough. I have rearranged all the bedrooms in preparation of babies arrival. He/she will be sharing a room with Brooke after hanging out in mom and dad's room for the first few weeks.
NOT fun pregnancy symptoms: Sciatica. What!?! My right leg is numb most of the time. I have to stretch it out all the time and get off my feet it it's acting up too much. Boo! I haven't ever had it before and it's the weirdest thing.
