For Cinco De Mayo we hit up a fun Mexican restaurant, got the Honda Accord detailed so we can sell it soon, daddy got a hair cut and Jace got a buzz, Brooke got some ear drops at the Dr. office for swimmers ear, we got some new shoes for daddy at the Outlets in Anthem, and since the kids were extra good the whole time we took them to Adventure Playground. They were beyond excited. I told them at the beginning of the day that we could go there if they were good and they followed through. It's Craig's birthday next week and the day after he is leaving on business to Peru for 2 weeks so we wanted to have some fun family time today. Anthem is about 1/2 hour away. The kids played the quiet game all the way there - totally worth a piece of gum for 30min of piece and quiet. :) After picking out some sweet Nike shoes we stopped at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and picked out a treat then headed over to the Daisy Mountain Railroad Park. This park is amazing!! First of all, they have a train that wraps around the whole thing. They have a splash pad. They have an AMAZING playground, ducks, ponds, and lots of grass to run around on. We got there in the evening and the sun was going down. It was nice and cool -perfect weather. The kids ran and played to their hearts content. We fed the ducks and Ty was in heaven. I've never seen him more excited. He just kept squealing with excitement, smiling and trying to jump out of my arms. After they closed the playground at dusk daddy played tag with Jace and Brooke in the grassy area. It was such a fun family evening. One that you don't forget -it's seared in my memory. I love my family! We have so much fun together.

I'm so glad you had a fun day with the kiddos. I love days like that. I sure love you! Good luck with Craig being gone. It's hard to be away from your spouse. Call if you need to vent. lol. :) Oh, and your kids are so adorable... give them a hug from Aunt Becky.
Looks like you had a great day. What a fun place to play!
