Sneak Peek



I wasn't sure what to name this post - the alternate was Little Linebacker.  I had my 37 week appointment today and they did an ultrasound at the hospital as well to see how big baby is measuring.  According to the ultrasound he is already 7lbs and I am only 37 weeks.  YIKES!!  Hopefully he decides to come at just the right time - just after Craig graduates on the 16th - that's 10 days away.  I assume he would be around 7lbs 12 oz - 8lbs by then and that's a big baby for me.  Who knows how accurate the ultrasound is though.  I love his chubby little face.  The umbilical cord was in front of one of his eyes and the technician didn't bother to wake him up or get a better angle but he looks like a sleeping angel to me.  Oh, how I am in love with this little guy already.  I can't wait to meet him.  I'm still measuring at 75% effaced and dilated to a 1 but he is VERY low.  If he truly is 7lbs I could be having him any day now.  I did get some bad news at the Doctor's office though.  Dr. Heard-Vaughn has had a death in the family and may be gone for the delivery so they are transferring me to a new doctor.  Hopefully she makes it back in time.  I'll know more next week.
