Brookie the Entreprenuer

 As one of the projects in Mrs. Daniels second grade class Brooke was put into a group and encouraged to build a business.  Candy Cane Friends, Friendship Bracelets was born.  :)  They made bracelets, set prices, and sold customers on their product at their Bazaar.  It was great!  I loved this project.  Daddy was especially proud being business minded himself.  We were happy to support Candy Cane Friends bracelet company. Brooke had so much fun with this project.

We've been really proud of Brooke lately.  She's been learning about setting goals at school and has really taken it to heart.  She sets weekly goals and has been working really hard to keep them..  Usually they are some kind of move for gymnastics.  She is in LOVE with gymnastics and is trying to earn and save money to help put her into a gymnastics class.  She is very talented, although I did finally have to ban somersaulting everywhere she went around the house because it was putting holes in all of her leggings.  She also set a goal of not putting her fingers in her mouth because she has a bad habit of doing so.  Mostly because she constantly has lose teeth lately.  I love that she is taking to heart being a hard worker and setting goals.
