Scottie finally showed up. He wrote an apology note about how he got lost in the move ... I mean a blizzard and left the kids a gingerbread house kit as an apology. Brooke was extremely concerned especially since all of her friends scout elves were already at their houses and they even had one in their school classroom. The kids stared at him extra long and I held my breath that they didn't notice that Scottie's eye color had changed from years past or the fact that he just looked a little different. ( I did spend HOURS searching the house and garage for him just in case he was hiding REALLY good and that's why no one could find him.) I have a feeling that Scottie might be tired this year and a I wouldn't be surprised if he hides 9 times in the Christmas tree. Of course everyone else's elves are leaving them candy everyday or zooming across the room in hand made zip lines. Hopefully he picks up his game... and hopefully next year he doesn't get lost.
