Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! We did a simple just us Thanksgiving dinner this year. The kids helped make little Turkey crafts to go on our glasses that were filled with Cranberry Sparkling Cider. We had Turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potato casserole, stuffing, green beans, stuffing, rolls, fruit salad, and pumpkin pie. Yum, Yum! I even made a real Turkey this year all by myself. Thanks for showing me what to do, mom. We went around the table and found that Ty is thankful for Lightning Mcqueen, Brooke is thankful for her body, family, and Jesus, Jace is thankful for good food, family, and legos, mommy is thankful for the new baby growing in her and daddy is thankful for his new job. We have lots to be thankful for this year! We spent the rest of the afternoon watching movies together and taking naps. Then Craig went out and did the Black Friday shopping! lol. He had to go observe for his work so he did ours while he was out. Yeah!! He called me about 20 times and was completely overwhelmed by it all. I just laughed. He didn't think it was nearly as fun as I do.
