Living Room Redo & Fall Art

I like rearranging things.  Sometimes when your stuck home all the time you just need something new to look at.  I took down my photo collage and put up different decorations in it's place with some of the recent photos I took of our family in October.  I also made a new fall wreath with my friend, Michele.  She invited me over and we made these while the kids played.  She is so sweet.  We just used a wire hanger that we reshaped and tied cut up strips of old material.  It was fun and so easy to do.  I hung some wire and a bulletin board up in the kids play area to hang their crafts and school projects they want to save. We even made a thankful tree this year for family home evening and have been adding leaves with messages saying what we are thankful for.  It was a hit with the kids.  We are enjoying fall.

I love Ty's abstract Turkey on the left.  He painted it all by himself.  I had it turned the other way but we ran out of room so I switched it horizontal.  Craig asked who did the Turkey and I didn't know what he was talking about so he showed me.  Nice painting, Ty!!

Brooke and her school Turkey projects.

Jace made this one for me.  :)

We collected leaves and pressed them.  The kids had fun using them in art pictures at home.

Our Thankful Tree!
