Brooke was absolutely adorable in her little ballet/tap recital. The entire recital was a Cinderella fairytale theme but Brooke's group performed to the song "Little Patch of Heaven" which was kind of had a western feel to it. She did great. Grandma & Grandpa Johnson even came to see her perform. I ordered the dvd for daddy since he missed it. We got a little rose to present to her after her performance. She was just soaking up the lime life. She likes to be the center of attention. As a finale some of the girls performed a special daddy/ daughter dance with their fathers. It brought tears to my eyes. I just kept thinking of Craig and how much he would have loved to do that with Brooke. He used to dance with her everyday when he got home from work since she was a baby. She is such a daddies girl. I wish he could have been there to see her. I was very proud of her.
After her performance we stopped for lunch at Dairy Queen and celebrated with ice cream and then we headed to Utah with my parents for the summer.
