Last Saturday the IWFC club had a family field trip to Wet n' Wild water park. It was super fun. It's not even that far away from where we live ... like maybe 15min. drive. I thought about getting a season pass but decided not to since we'll be out and about during the summer months. Plus, Brooke is too short to go on the big rides so we would all just be stuck at Boogie Board Beach which is fun but not nearly as fun as Mammoth Falls. I talked Jace into going on that one with me. The falls drops guests 57 feet before the raft goes vertical, shooting up a wall, then falling back to experience weightlessness before arriving safely to the calm waters below. Craig was very frustrated because Jace was super excited to go on all the 'big' rides with daddy but after waiting in line for 20min to go on Desert Racers they got to the top and he found out that he had to go by himself and Jace freaked out and wouldn't go. Then he didn't want to go on ANYTHING. I finally got him to go with me on Mammoth Falls because we could go together and then he got a little braver and wanted to go on some of the other slides. We also loved the wave pool. The water was pretty cold but it felt nice with the weather being 100+ degrees. Brooke had a blast playing with Katherine and they all had fun taking turns wearing my big floppy hat. Even though we sun screened like crazy I still ended up getting burned a little. It was such a fun place to spend with daddy on one of his last weekends here. On the way home at 5:30pm the kids fell asleep and were out for the night. The sun sure zapped every one's energy. Craig and I stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings and got some dinner. Wings are so yummy. I used to think it was total man food but I LOVE them now. Fun day!

| I LOVE this picture. The look on both of my boys faces while we head down Mammoth Falls 57ft. drop - priceless. Sorry about the water drops and blurriness - we were going pretty fast. |
Making faces and taking an ICEE break.

The kids loved playing with my floppy hat. Brooke played with Katherine the WHOLE time. I'm sad that they are moving soon ... but that's what happens when you go to graduate school.

I laughed like crazy looking at he picture with Craig and Jace going down Mammoth. lol. :) That's such a great picture. Looks like you guys are having a blast. Also, good job on the art work little buddies. Tell Jace I thought his looked awesome!!! :)
I find it completely ridiculous that you get to play at a waterpark while I sulk here in the rain.
Well, Gen - I guess that means you need to come visit. :)
