Craig & Jace
Like Father Like Son :)
Brooke
Brrr . . .it's cold out here.
This is the pumpkin launch . .
. .we each got 2 tries. The point is to launch your pumpkin into the white barrels. If you actually got it in then you would win a prize.
We didn't see anyone make it in the barrels while we were there . . .
. .that is until I had my turn! :) I was quite proud of myself . .everyone started clapping and cheering . .and I thought . .hmm . .I have a hidden talent - PUMPKIN LAUNCHING! Jace was jumping up and down and saying "my mommy won the prize, my mommy won the prize".
THE ULTIMATE PUMPKIN LAUNCHER
I was very proud to show off the new scarecrow that I won! :)
After the pumpkin launch we took a hayride over to the pumpkin patch.
Jace was very excited to look for his perfect pumpkin!
We packed the kids into a wheelbarrow . .
. .and started looking!
These ones were good . .
. . .but not quite up to Jace's expectations. :(
Daddy was very patient while we examined pumpkin after pumpkin . .
. .I think we walked through the entire patch . .but Jace didn't slow down for a second. He was very picky.
Then - all the sudden - one pumpkin stood above the rest . .
. .and Jace instantly knew it was the one for him! He liked it because it had a little mark on it that looked like a J for Jace.
We loaded all of our pumpkins into the wheelbarrow . .
. .and daddy had to push it ALL the way back to the beginning of the patch so we could hitch a ride back to the farm on the hayride.
We found a Daddy pumpkin, a Mommy pumpkin, a Jace pumpkin, and a little Brookie Pumpkin so all in all the pumpkin search was a success!
Some of the other activities we enjoyed . .while at the Bi-Zi Farm.
We ended the day with Jace's Pony Ride . .he did it all by himself.
We would highly recommend the Bi-Zi Farm & Pumpkin Patch in Vancouver WA to anyone in the area!

All that for $8 bucks?! You guys scored! That sounds like the best pumpkin patch I've ever heard of! And, seriously, you DO look like Kate Hudson and Craig DOES look like Matthew Fox. I never would have thought of it until I saw that morphing thing. Kate Hudson is not a bad person to look like since she's beautiful! You guys could be sisters!
That looks fun! I wish I would've gone to the one here. We were lame and picked out pumpkins from Albertsons :)
Hey! I didn't know that you guys moved! What an awesome place to be. It seems beautiful from the pictures. Let's see...Brian's email address is jedibutterfly@hotmail.com. Good luck in WA...your babies are beautiful!
Hi Heather, We've been busy since getting back from Hawaii and I just barely sat down at the computer to watch your blog. I loved it!!!! Thanks for the update--I had to go on and read lots of things I hadn't seen yet--I'm way behind and I love everything you put on--by the way your little Brookie is just like you were when you were little. So eager fot the morning to start, you really loved life and still do. Thanks sharing the fun pumpkin patch times and congratulations on winning the prize!!! Wow I raised talented kids and I love that you try to beat Craig in "sporting events" I loved watching you on go carts in Mesquite. I was surprised at how competitive you were because we usually thought of Becky as the competitive one until then. I love you and I love your family. Can't wait to see you come spring. Love, Mom
These pumpkin place pics are so much fun! Thanks for your note on our blog... it's great to meet you since we're relatives!
