4th Grade Graduation

Oh, this kid cracks me up!  May has been a crazy month for us.  I feel like there has been WAY too many things to remember ... field trips, papers turned in, the talent show, individual school class performances, Colt Stampede Assemblies/awards, & Jace's 4th grade graduation.  Something happened to the mail app on my iphone and I wasn't getting all my emails so I missed the calendar of events which left me less than organized.   School mornings are madness.  Making eggs or GFCF pancakes for breakfast, vitamins/fish oil/ probiotics, enough water for everyone (got to stay hydrated), getting the kids out of bed, making sure they actually get out of bed and get dressed, scriptures and prayer, making lunches, putting a snack in their bags and making sure they have their bags with papers signed, doing hair & brushing teeth.  It's exhausting.  I always do a huge sigh of relief after they make it on the bus. Craig had gotten yesterday morning off for the talent show and this morning we were scrambling.... and late.  I hate being late.  Craig decided to just drive the kids to school.  I plopped on the couch after they left to just breath but then Craig was back in the door 10min. later ...and tells me, "As I was dropping Jace off it was really crowded and then he remembered it was his graduation this morning. I just called my boss and he said I could be late.  We need to be out the door in 5min."  I've never gotten ready so fast.  I may or may not have worn the same outfit from yesterday that I fell asleep in because my life has been madness but we made it there in time for him to see us and that meant the world to him.  He just kept turning around in his seat and smiling and waving at Jenni.  When Craig dropped him off and Jace remembered, he had told him he wasn't sure if we could make it since it was starting right then and he missed yesterday for the talent show and he needed to let him know ahead of time so he can plan getting off work for things like that.  He was so happy to see us there.  Afterwords we went up to his classroom for a slideshow of the year and he had his teacher hold Jenni because he had been telling her a lot about his baby sister.  They let any kids that wanted to leave with their parents get out early and Jace was just beaming.  We took some pictures on our way out of the school since this will be his last year here at Centerton Gamble Elementary.  Oh, how he is growing up right before my eyes.
I love Jace so much!  He keeps me on my toes. :)

What a grown up boy Jace is. I love that he is so sweet with Jenni and brags about having a little sister.
