I totally appreciated Nani staying with us for a week + to help out with sick kids, dinners, cleaning, and nightly Jenni duty. They are both night owls and bonded after bedtime hours while I got some extra rest. She gave Brooke a makeover with 'real' makeup, which she loved and she helped me do Jenni's 2 week photo shoot too. She also snuggled Ty lots and lots when mommy couldn't. I felt horrible that the kids were all sick when I brought Jenni home from the hospital so they didn't get much special time with her unless they had scrubbed their hands and they weren't aloud to breath on her. She mostly had to be quarantined in the master bedroom. We went though horrible colds and then Strep throat. They were pretty much sick for a month. It was kind of a nightmare. Poor Ty. He just didn't understand why he couldn't touch and kiss the baby and why I couldn't be with him all the time ... especially when he didn't feel good. He has turned into a daddies boy in protest. He's angry with me and just doesn't understand what's happening in his world. Hopefully he will adjust and turn back into his sweet self.
