Grandma and Grandpa Johnson planned a trip to visit us and have us come stay with them in Branson, MO nearly a year ago. At that time Becky and her boys, Julie and her family, and Uncle Justin all planned to come along. As the date drew closer everyone ended up having to cancel for one reason or another. I've been wanting to go see Branson since we moved here but since the trip ended up being so close to my due date and all the complications with the baby being breech my Dr. felt like I shouldn't go just to be safe. It broke my heart. I had looked forward to this for months. It just ended up being bad timing.
So instead my parents stopped by our house first to visit and they picked up Jace and Brooke to spend some special time with them in Branson. They did all sorts of fun things together: Inside water park fun, hot tub swimming, eating out at restaurants, picking out toys at the store, Go cart racing, etc... They had a blast! While they were gone it gave me a chance to deep clean my house. They came back after 2 days of fun and spent the day with us. Craig took the day off and we took them to Crystal Bridges Art Museum, and the Bentonville downtown square. It was lots of fun. Ty enjoyed having lots of extra attention. Grandpa treated us to lunch at the Museum Restaurant and we tried the Chicken n' Waffles and collard greens. Totally Southern and totally delicious! :) Grandma and Grandpa headed back to Branson again to enjoy a day to themselves and to see a show then came back yet again to be here when we induced to help watch kids. I sure appreciated all their help and willingness to drive back and forth from Branson to Bentonville over and over again. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive and not a fun one, on top of the already 20 hour car ride it took to get them here from Utah. Thanks mom and dad. I love you!
Ty really liked driving his cars and trucks all over Grandpa.
Jace enjoyed showing Grandma all about Minecraft on the smartphone.

Ty loved the trucks. Every time he says truck it comes out as *uck. It's really embarrassing during church when he shouts it out. I always feel like I have to say "He's not dropping an F bomb ... he's trying to say truck."
