Jace's Baptism

What a special day!  It rained all morning and Jace loves the rain.  He thought it was Heavenly Father's way of making today special for him.  :)  We met at the stake center at 9:30am.  I was overwhelmed by the spirit as the program started.  We had only invited a small group of people:  the Christensen family (whom we have grown very close to here), the primary president, a member of the bishopric, and the ward couple in charge of helping with baptisms.  Of course our family was there and Nani and Grandpa flew all the way from Utah to be here for Jace's special day which we were all really excited about.  Jace was the only one from the stake getting baptized today so we were in charge of the whole program.  It was beautiful.  Nani said the opening prayer, Grandpa gave a talk on baptism, Daddy and Brooke did a musical number and sang "When I Am Baptized" ( I was so proud of them.  They brought everyone to tears it was so beautiful), we watched daddy baptize Jace (he had to get double dunked to wash away all the excess of sins, lol),  Mommy gave a talk on the holy ghost, then daddy confirmed Jace a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and he received the gift of the holy spirit to help guide him throughout his life.  The primary president gave a wonderful talk and Brother Putnam of the bishopric welcomed him to the ward.  We sang "The Spirit of God"  and Brooke gave the closing prayer.  It was truly such a wonderful experience!!  I hope he remembers this day forever.  I still remember the day I was baptized and how special it was.  We visited with our small group of friends, had refreshments, took some pictures then Jace let our family know that we needed to go out to eat at the Golden Corral to celebrate. :)  So we did.
The Brammer family: Nani, Grandpa, Daddy, Mommy, Ty, Brooke, and Jace.
Jace and his best friend Brady.
Brooke with her best friend Brinley.
Our favorite family here:  The Christensens.  We hang out all the time.

What a handsome kid my Jace is!  He got some new scriptures of his very own.

He was perfectly behaved for one whole day!!
After that whenever he would be mean to Brooke or talk back we would find him repenting quickly after. :)
