Just a Little Luck

We've had a string of bad luck lately.  I keep wondering if I broke a mirror or walked under a ladder or something.  I completely avoided leaving the house on Friday the 13th on purpose!!   Craig is applying like crazy to companies but hasn't secured a post MBA job as of yet ... which leads to finacial stresses, we have been down to one car for months which was recently rear ended, and we have been stuck in the house for weeks unable to do much because we are so broke ... so our house is constantly a mess because we are always here which, again,  leads to more stresses. As soon as one room gets clean - the next one is dirty.  Anyway, we were able to sign the kids up for ice skating/hockey lessons (for free) and they started on Sat.  We were SO excited to have something/somewhere to go .. besides the grocery store.  We got a flat tire on way.  SERIOUSLY!?!  I kept thinking "Could much more go wrong?"  but quickly changed my mindset because I didn't want to jinx myself and YES a whole lot more could go wrong. We are going through some challenges but we need to count our blessings instead of focusing on all the things that aren't going our way.  We have our health, which is a wonderful thing to have.  We have three beautiful children, a house over our head, and food to eat.  We have a loving family and because of that car accident (in which NO one was hurt) Liberty Mutual is paying for a rental for us which we are using to go to Southern, UT. YEAH!!!  We are going to have Ty blessed sometime this next week at my parents home in Hurricane, UT.  We are very excited to get out of dodge!

I think Jace overheard Craig and I talking about how we've had a string of bad luck because I found him in the back yard searching for a 4 leaf clover.  I asked him what he was doing and he said "I just need a little luck."  So cute.

I'm sorry things have been so rough lately. We will add your family to our prayers. Hopefully, something will work out for Craig soon. What kind of work is he looking for, and in what areas?
