... And then there were 3!

WoW!!  I have 3 kids now.  I'm glad Craig has been around to help me.  Ty was up all night last night with tummy aches and the only thing that helped him feel better was nursing so Craig took the kids to school and let me sleep in.  Brooke was SUPER excited to go back to preschool.  Jace ... not so much.

I'm glad Brooke has been her happy usual self today.  We've been concerned about her.  Since baby came into the world she's gotten a bit of a complex.  She's too rough with the baby (I can't tell if it's on purpose or not) and when you tell her she's being too rough she gets mad and covers her face with her arms and won't talk to anyone and then she starts crying and runs into the next room.  She's very emotional and has been acting out in order to get attention and she's also started doing this super annoying, super loud fake laugh that has been driving everyone crazy.  I hope my old Brookie is back to stay.  I miss her.

Having 3 kids is quite an adjustment.  I've been too scared to take them all anywhere by myself ... unless you count the park down the street.  Craig and I are now on a zone defense and I don't know what I would do without his help.  He is also spending many hours each and every day looking for a job now that he is graduated.  Job hunting sucks!

Jace loves his baby Ty Ty.  He will bounce into the room, stop to give him a kiss and a luv and say "Love you Ty Ty.  Okay bye bye, Ty Ty."  He hates reading but since I told him how much Ty likes books he has started reading to him everyday.  I love it.  He is also officially Ty's tummy time partner.  He loves this time with him.  He tells him all about all fighter planes and World War 1.  When he's not hanging out with Ty you can find Jace playing with all his new fighter planes he got for Christmas.  He even made a bunch of airplane hangers and battleships out of card board boxes.  I asked him why all his stuff was behind my couch and he said "Mom!! That is Pearl Harbor - don't touch it."  I asked if I could at least put my ironing board away since he got a 'real' air craft carrier from Santa.  He nonchalantly let me know that it had been retired an was no longer in use so yes, I could put it away.  lol  He also flies them around in the back yard a lot too, usually without shoes or pants on.  It drives me crazy.  Why do my kids like to naked!?!  He would live in a t shirt and underpants if I didn't make him get dressed everyday.

Jace reading to Ty Ty during tummy time.  It's a book about airplanes.

Ty is such a chunk - he's almost bigger than Brooke.

My sweet bright eyed Brookie bean can be found wrapping up everything in sight and giving presents all day long.  She LOVED Christmas and thinks everyday should be a day for presents.  I get binkies, pennies, nursing pads, and pens wrapped up in Kleenexes.  lol  She has also been missing the Christmas elves Scottie and Oodles very much so she made up a new game.  She is Ellie the Elf and me and daddy switch off playing Santa and the 'kid'.  She'll perch herself on the  couch with her knees pulled up just like the elves.  She's very still and watched then after about minute she'll go report to Santa.  It cracks me up.  She likes playing Doctor as well and LOVES giving Ty pretend shots. :) Hmmm...

Baby Ty is 3 weeks old now and as cute as can be.  He's been giving more and more smiles.  He gets a little overwhelmed when he wakes up and both kids are hovering over him.  He loves nursing, and snuggling.  He makes the funniest noises too.  One sounds like a baby goat.  We all tease him by reenacting it.  It makes us all laugh. ... unless it's the middle of the night.  Last night he made weird noises all night long and Craig and I hardly slept.  He's not too sure about baths yet but I love the way he smells when he's all clean.  He's such an angel.  I love just holding him and would do that all day if I could.  He's such a chunk an LOVES to eat.  I'm curious how much he weighs now.  I laugh when Brooke holds him because he's almost half her size.  :)  We love this guy!!

You have a very adorable family. Don't worry too much about Brooke. Taylor had a small adjustment too. He is in like every single picture of the babies because he didn't want to go unnoticed. Love you guys! Good luck with the job hunting.
