TinKer FaiRy HouSes

Brooke's birthday is coming up and she has been talking about a Tinkerbell Birthday party for 6 months now.  I've been wanting to do something extra special for her since her last 2 b-days have been underplayed since we were in the process of moving both times.  She is getting her first friend party. So the last few days I have spent hours gluing flowers, leaves, bottle caps, acorns and buttons onto McDonalds happy meal boxes to turn them into TinKer FaiRy HouSeS.  We collected the acorns from a park 4 months ago in April. Brooke has been soaking up every second of it.  She has loved to be my helper.  So has Jace.  It's been a "fun" thing to do while we've been stuck in the house avoiding the summer heat.  My fingers are crying though.  I have WAY too many burns from the hot glue gun.  I must love this little girl LOTS and LOTS!!  I think they turned out super cute.  She can't wait for her special day.  Best present ever is going to be her DADDY coming home!  We can't wait.

Accessories for the inside: rugs, beds, wall hangings, and end tables with fairy treats.

End tables with fairy treats made out of marshmellows, buttons, and glitter.
I guess Fairies like to eat sweets and nuts?

This is what they will look like on the inside.  The kids get to decorate the inside on party day.

WOW! That is a lot of work. I am truly impressed. They are seriously adorable. I love how cute they turned out, but I bet your fingers are sore. You are a great Mommy and just remember that your fingers will eventually feel better and in the process you are creating a memory for little Brooke that will last a life time. I'm so excited for you that Craig will be coming home soon. I know how much you have missed having your family whole. Love and miss you girl!
