Craig has some good friends that play on the Thunderbird Rugby team so we went to one of their tournaments that they held at the school last Saturday. After 5 minutes of 'watching' Jace got bored so I let him use my new little camera to take pictures. He had so much fun and had a blast the rest of the time. He used up an entire battery and took over 200 pics. It was funny to look at his pictures afterwards ... all from Jace's point of view. We met up with Tracie & Mark, Joe, and Derrick & Kristie. It was actually quite fascinating to watch the games. Rugby is a ruthless sport. It's pretty much football without pads. I cringed every time someone we knew got tackled. I'm glad that Craig's friends didn't persuade him to join the team because I know they were on him for a while. Afterwards they had a dinner and an awards ceremony. It was fun to visit with everyone. We all wanted to get together again so we invited them over for games and dinner the next night. The kids LOVE Mark & Tracie and were so excited that they were coming over. Brooke sat on Tracie's lap through dinner and didn't want to go to bed when the time came. We ended up staying up until past midnight chatting. Well, mostly it was Mark and Craig going back and forth laughing about all the stupid stuff they did in high school. It was pretty funny.
Here are some of the pictures that Jace took during the rugby tournament:
| Mom, Dad, & Brooke - wow I look so tall from this point of view! :) |
| Craig, Joe, Mark, & Tracie. Good times!! |
