My little Brookie bean ballerina had a mini ballet/tap recital last Monday. It was SO cute! She went through the 6 week course and they didn't have matching costumes this time but I resigned her up for the 10 week course and they will have a princess recital w/ costume included at the end. Her mini recital was held in her class room and the music was Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid. All the little girls looked adorable. She did such a good job and had a smile on the entire time. It was a fake/overdone/performer one ... but it was still a smile. We invited Tracie since daddy had class and couldn't come. After the performance they had a little party and they each got a plate of treats full of chocolate covered strawberries and cookies.
I LOVE ballet. I always wanted to be in it when I was little. We just never lived in an area where it was offered. Brooke has LOVED being in dance class. It makes me so happy that she looks forward to it each week. I'm kinda glad that she's such a girlie girl... just like me. :)
