Ty's Toddler Bed

It was time to get Ty out of the crib and into a "big" boy bed.  I was going to just put him in the bottom bunk of the bunk beds but someone was getting rid of this adorable Cars toddler bed for just $15.  I couldn't resist.  It was too good of a deal.  Plus it came with a matching Lightning Mcqueen & Mater bedspread and sheets set.  Ty LOVES it!  He had a little bit of a hard time the first night so I stayed with him and laid on the bottom bunk until he fell asleep.  It can be a little scary when you're use to the confinement of a crib.  However, we have found that he is actually sleeping much better in his toddler bed for both naps and at night than the crib.  He usually cries for about 5-10min at nap time and knocks on the door to get out of his room but as soon as it's quiet I find that he has found his way to his bed and is fast asleep.  Yay!!
