I love going to a pumpkin patch every fall. This year we went to Farmland Adventures in Sprindale, AR and had Grandpa Robert with us as well as the Christensen family. We had lots of fun finding our way through the corn maze, going on LOTS of pony rides, playing in the corn pile, checking out the petting zoo, watching the pig races, taking a hay ride out to feed the cows, and running through the overly picked pumpkin patch. There was literally maybe one or two pumpkins left in the patch. It was pathetic. Good thing we already picked ours out at the grocery store. The kids even saved up their own money to buy their own pumpkins this year by being hard workers around the house. We had a great time. Brooke & Brynlee loved the pony rides, Ty thought feeding the cows was the coolest thing ever, and Jace & Brady liked playing in the corn and running through the pumpkin patch. Although they did get in trouble for throwing around the old, yucky gourds and broken apart pumpkins. Then they started play wrestling and it got out of hand. I could tell that Jace was starting to actually get mad while Brady was still having fun. I had to pull Jace off of him and then he threw the biggest tantrum ever. He yelled at everyone and kicked daddy all the way to the car. He ended up going home with Grandpa and having a cool off period while the rest of us went out to dinner. Daddy did a great job keeping his cool and not losing his temper.
The Pumpkin Patch was pretty picked over, as in there were NO pumpkins left. Good thing we already picked some up at Wal-Mart. :)
Photo bomb!! Thanks to Lance. He tossed the pumpkin right as Michele took the picture. :)
