Uncle Justin

 Uncle Justin came for a visit, just for fun, over Labor day weekend.  We LOVED having him here.  He is pretty cool after all.  I'm sure he was ready for a break from us after 3 days since Brooke attached herself to him for the entire time.  She wanted to sit by him at dinner, on the couch, at church and she would hold his hand and partner up with him when we went anywhere.  She was SO upset that Jace got to ride in his car and she had ride with mom and dad in her car seat.  She threw a complete fit.  She loves Uncle Justin almost as much as she loves chocolate milk... and that's saying something. He came on Thursday so he could watch the first BYU football game with Craig.  He also got to be here for the Oakwood elementary open house so he got to see where Jace and Brooke go to school and see their classrooms and where they sit. We got some pizza that night and just chilled out watching the game.

On Friday morning we chatted while the kids were at school.  Then he got to come with Brooke on her weekly mommy date to The Cerreta Chocolate Factory.  They took a picture next to the giant Umpa Loompa made out of candy.  That night we had some popcorn and watched Warrior which I hadn't seen in months.  That is a great movie.  You should rent it if you haven't seen it.

On Saturday morning we took the kid's to the Home Depot kid's workshop.  Jace LOVED this.  He made me promise to take him back every month so he can fill up his apron with pins.  They built and painted goal posts in honor of football season starting.  Jace painted his blue and white for BYU.  Brooke painted hers pink and purple and thought it looked more like a princess castle.  Afterwards we stopped at the park. The boys picked up In & Out Hamburgers for lunch and we went bowling that evening.  I won thank you very much. ;)  The highlight was waiting 5 minutes for Brooke's ball to slowly make it down to the pins only to have it stop and roll all the way back. lol  Afterwards we picked up some YOGURTOLOGY.

Craig mid-sentence telling me to stop taking pictures because it's bugging everyone around us.  I snapped just one more.  lol  Don't you just love that demonic look.  He was sad that I won.

He ended up leaving after Sunday dinner. Thanks for coming to visit us Uncle Justin.  We miss you lots!!

and thanks for teaching Craig and I how to figure out the sound when we watch movies on the laptop and for showing me how cool my phone actually is. :)  I'm having lots of fun with InstaGram.
