My Dates with Brookie (Aug)

Brookie Michelle Brammer: Kindergarten Girl

Since Brooke is only doing half day Kindergarten this year I decided to do a special date with her once a week.  We go somewhere special that lots of fun right after her school gets out.  Ty comes too... but these dates are all about Brooke and helping her feel important and special since she's still coping with being the dreaded "middle child". :)  She LOVES it!!  What kid wouldn't?  Mommy dates are awesome!!

The first week we went to our favorite frozen yogurt place.  It's called YOGURTOLOGY and we LOVE it!  It's self serve deliciousness and has tons of options and toppings galore.  I always get Tart Nouveau with toasted coconut, fresh berries, and raspberry sauce.  Brooke always get cupcake batter with sprinkles and gumballs.  The best part is that it's full of probiotics and so healthy ... except when you choose gumballs.  I always choose healthy stuff though.  We also went to the mall play place and Brooke zipped around making friends and playing with Ty on the slide.

The second week we went to the library and read stories and then she helped me do some grocery shopping.  She loves to sit on "The Queen's Chair" in the kids area at the library and boss me around. We also met daddy at Pita Jungle for her birthday lunch that week too.

The third week we went back to the mall.  We stopped at Johnny Rockets for lunch and shared an oreo milkshake.  She used some of her birthday money to buy new earrings at Claire's and she went on a train ride!

The last week in August we went on the Cerreta Chocolate Factory tour.  We loved tasting their white chocolate covered marshmallows with sprinkles. Brooke was excited to have Uncle Justin on our weekly date this time.
