Brooke and the neighborhood girls made a fort out of one of our moving boxes they found in the garage. They took their time and made a window and door. Brooke was really proud of her work. When Jace saw me taking pictures of Brooke in her fort he wanted one too ... but he wanted a jumbo cardboard box fort with several rooms. lol. Of course. I helped them find some boxes they could use and they spent the morning building an awesome cardboard box fort. It was the first morning that they didn't do their chores right away. I was okay with that. I loved that they were using their imaginations and being creative. Ironically, Brooke helped Jace all morning ... mostly taking orders on what to do and then he tagged a sign on it at the end of construction that said "NO GIRLS ALLOWD". He and his friends: Kaden, Israel, and Cody like to hang out in there.
