Air Show @ Nellis Air Force Base

This was such an amazing adventure for Jace.  He was in AWE and had so much fun, as did the rest of us.  BIG thank you to mom & dad for paying for my gas money ;) , Uncle Justin who drove all the way down to AZ to pick us up and then drove us all the back after it was over, and of course to Julie and Ben who let us stay with them, fed us, and bundled us up when we didn't bring warm enough clothes.  This was a big deal to Jace so Thank you guys for everything - you made his dream come true!

Unfortunately, it was horribly cold weather.  We totally froze our tushes off ... but still managed to have a great time.  It was wonderful to see family.  Ty had a blast playing with his cousin Dylan and all his toys.  I think if we lived closer they would be best friends.  Jace wore his flight suit and Uncle Ben gave us all a VIP tour of where he works and the helicopters he flies.  It was AWESOME!!  Those night vision goggles were super cool.  We set up our chairs and Jace had a blast watching the planes with his goggles.  He was even too busy to bug Brooke which was a miracle in itself. :)  Brooke was happy there was snacks ... this was not really her thing.  Ben also took some special time with Jace explaining all the gear, guns, equipment, etc.. that they use and what everything was for.  Thanks Ben!!  Jace thinks you are super cool.  When we were not at the air show we had a great time chillin' at Julie's house.  Jace and Brooke played with the dogs in the back yard most of the time.  I enjoyed going to that Hockey game with you and all the delicious food you made, and playing with my nephew.  He is such a sweet little goer.. so busy.  Ty loved your house.  All my kids did.  For days afterwords Brooke wanted to play house and pretend that your house was her house.  It was hilarious.  So thanks again, to all of you that helped us out.  We had a great time!!  Love you.
