Soon after I returned back to my parents house in Utah we held an Indiana Jones Birthday Party for Jace. Jace turned 6!! I can't believe that I have a 1st grader now who is going to be going to school full days. CRAZY!! We spent the morning shopping for birthday supplies. Jace got to come with me. Then we went to the Snow Cone hut and hit up the Hurricane splash pad in the afternoon. We decorated and invited all the Aunts, Uncles and cousins that could make it. Jace had a blast. We had pizza and salad with ranch for dinner, and an Indiana Jones Birthday cake for dessert. He picked it out himself a few days before. After opening up all his presents he played with cousins and then we all played the candy bar game. It was a hit. Jace was of course the center of attention but that new baby Alex was a close second. Everyone wanted a turn holding him including my kiddos. They couldn't get enough of him. He is precious beyond measure... just a few weeks old.
Later that night we lost some of the little ones and found them in the guest bedroom, jumping on the bed and shaking dried, decorative pompous leaves into the ceiling fan to make it look like it was snowing. WHAT A MESS!! They sure had fun, though. My kiddos are missing all the fun they had at Grandma & Grandpa's house already. We arrived home in AZ the day after Jace's party. Thanks to everyone that helped watch my kids so I could spend some time with Craig in Peru. I truly appreciate it.

It was sure a fun birthday party! The pampas grass is now completely cleaned up. I had to throw the curtains in the dryer to get all the stuff off of them, but it was pretty hilarious watching them having fun!
