Hair

Just in case ... you have ever wondered what my hair looks like straight:

I don't do it very often because Craig hates it. He hates any change with my hair. I cut and colored it the other day and really liked it. Craig didn't. Brooke also cut her hair too. Nobody liked it, though. We had a friend come over to fix the hair mess. She cuts hair professionally and was so sweet. She cut everybodies hair for free and did a great job. Do I really look THAT different? I guess I'm just a curly girl and that's the way he likes me.

Since I had cut my hair earlier in the day and left the scissors near the sink in my bathroom, Craig and I got very suspicious when Brooke used the bathroom and didn't come out for a very long time.  "Brooke, WHAT are you doing in there?"  She comes out with scissors in hand.  Gasping "OHH, did you cut your hair?" ...  "No".  I ran into the bathroom and found evidence of her lie laying on the floor.  Golden locks all over the place. "I was just making my hair beautiful, mom!"  I wanted to cry.  No more piggy tails for this little angel.

I hope you are all enjoying the holidays.  I'm sure we will be finding lots of fun things to do whilst we wait for our hair to grow back.  Maybe Brooke can work on being more honest.
