Weekends have become our special time with Craig. We started doing weekly Friday morning breakfast dates. It's the one time of the week that Craig isn't TOO busy. We drop Jace off at school and Craig takes his girls out for breakfast. (Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day). Brooke loves having special time with her daddy. She's missed him. After eating we try to go do some sort of inexpensive activity .. like looking at the fish tank in Cabelas or walking through Toys R Us. When we get back Craig makes sure to spend some extra special time with Jace too. I'm glad he's such a great husband and father.

oh Heather I love to read your blog, you seem to be keeping yourself so busy and you are giving me some great ideas too! Its so hard having a husband in grad school that is gone all time (I know exactly how you feel) I'm so jealous that you are in Arizona I am dreading the winter in Ohio :-(
That is sweet that you have Friday Breakfast Dates! I'm glad you have gotten so involved and made lots of new friends. Before you know it, the year will be up and who knows where you'll be!!!

I love reading your blog. You are such a good mommy and have a beautiful family. What a great idea to have a Friday breakfast date! It totally makes me jealous....oh well maybe I can do it when he gets back. Thank you so much for your willingness to be my friend. I am looking forward to a great school year with lots of fun activities. BTW you need to encourage me to do better on my blog so that I too can have a cute book of family memories!!! :)
