Brooke:
As I am slaving over the stove with dinner, Craig comes over holding Brooke to see what I'm making, we laugh hysterically as Brooke pipes in with an excited "poo poop, poo poop" actually it was stroganoff but I guess it looked like something else.Jace:
I say, "Jace, come sit down for dinner" he says " I'm not Jace, I'm Buzz B. Lightyear"."Okay, Buzz Lightyear come sit down for dinner", "I can't I'm flying right now"
"Buzz, you need to come and eat", "I'm busy right now, mom", " Come sit down, NOW!" This conversation is repeated about 3 times.
We are all sitting at the table waiting for Jace as he is "flying" around the room.
A smart Craig tricks Jace by saying " Hey, Buzz don't you need to fuel up . . you've been doing a lot of flying today. You need to come eat because your fuel is FOOD and if you run out of fuel you won't be able to fly anymore." He thinks about this for a moment then he jumps off the couch and yells " To Infinity and Beyond" as he spreads his wings/arms "Okay dad, um I mean Woody. Dad you're Woody and Mom you're Andy, Okay? Hey dad, I mean Andy, I mean Woody. I need to tell you a secret.
Craig says "Okay, What?" He whispers to Craig, "I think that I may have broken my wing, but I can fix it because I'm a fixer man too" He "fixes" his broken wing, eats his dinner and then continues to "fly" around the house.
NEW DISCOVERIES

Jace has discovered and fallen in love with the movie TOY STORY and has been watching it almost every day since. This has been going on for about a week now. It has been a bit of a pleasant change since before that his favorite movie was WALL-E which he has wanted to watch everyday for the last 2 months. I am officially WALL-ED out. He loves to pretend that he is Buzz Lightyear and will "fly" around the house most of the day. He has also discovered friends here. It has been a lot of fun to have other kids around. . . with babysitting swaps and play dates . . Jace has discovered that playing with other kids his age is actually fun. It's been good for him to get a little social interaction. I am TRYING to teach him to not be so bossy though . . if anyone has suggestions . .help!
Craig & I discovered the Camas Library and may I say that it is absolutely awesome!! It is LITERALLY the best public library in the state of Washington. We are very lucky that we live so close to it. We are both looking for a good book to read . . .again, any suggestions?

Fun to read your survey. I just love those, I think people either hate them or love them. So interesting! To be honest, I haven't planned Tuesday out yet, but have no fear, I'll get it done by then! Have a great day!
That's cute!
Hey Heather. Glad that you found me on here. Cute page. See you at church tomorrow!
I really like Fantasy books. The Charlie Bone series is good. If you like Dave Berry, he co-wrote a book called Peter and the Starcatchers. It's a Peter Pan story. Very funny and good. There are a couple of other books they have written since, still about Peter. Um, that's all I can think of right now. Oh, I really liked Jane Austen's Northanger Abby. Good luck with the reading.
I love the imagination of kids when they think they're a character and they tell you who you are. Just the other day, Josie was Dora and I was Boots.
Let's see, a good book . . . Ahab's Wife was AMAZING, but it took me until around 100 pages to get into it, but then it turned out to be one of my favorites. Memoir of a Geisha is a great book (don't see the movie). Stones from the River is another good one. Gosh, there's so many. I could go on and on.
They are soooooo cute! I love your kids! Don't worry, Madeline is obsessed with shoes, dogs, her bellybutton (which she pulls out regularly) and BABIES. I'm sure it's all a phase. Or at least I hope so. I love the quotes of the week! I hope you guys are doing well up there, it sounds like you are!
COME Visit BEFORE we MOVE!
I just read the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, it was darling.
Your kids are so cute! It's amazing the imagination of children!
Hi Heather, I love your blog. Your kids are so adorable. If anyone deserves a girly girl it is you! Tell Jace I think it is cool he can fly all over the house now--I used to fly when I was little too. My mom would put a towel on me to help because I was superman. I'm glad you'll be visiting soon. Love Mom
Read Shannon Hale books, they are fun and easy and you can put them down without feeling like you are stuck in a book. I like all of Richard Paul Evans, and I've really been into David Baldacci and Grisham lately. The secret life of Bees was also an interesting read. Try those and leave me a comment if you need more suggestions.
